Ravenshall pupil Daniel Jackson has been featured in an article on the British Gymnatstics website following his amazing success competing in Team Gymnastics and being crowned a Disability Gymnastics National Champion in both 2017 and 2018.

Daniel joined Leeds Esprit Gymnastics Club in 2014 after his physiotherapist recommended that he try gymnastics as a way of strengthening his left side, which was weaker due to his cerebral palsy.

This success has not been without its challenges. In 2016, Daniel underwent brain surgery to help with his epilepsy. We are all super proud of Daniel’s achievements and we hope to see him achieve his dream of competing in future Paralympics.

Well done Daniel!
