We are delighted to be a myHappymind school! myHappymind is an award-winning program for schools, nurseries, families and organisations commissioned by the NHS.  It teaches preventative habits that support mental health, resilience and self-esteem. Concepts taught are based on science and research and grounded in neuroscience and positive psychology. To learn more about the myHappymind for school’s programme visit their website here - https://myhappymind.org/

We embarked upon our myHappymind journey at Ravenshall in February 2024 to create a positive wellbeing culture where our pupils build resilience, self-esteem and character and help pupils develop lifelong habits to learn and thrive. myHappymind also teaches our pupils how to self-regulate and manage their emotions in stressful times.

My Happy Mind is delivered across the whole school as one element of Thrive Time and consists of 5 units:

As we embed the myHappymind as part of daily practice at Ravenshall our aim is to have a pupil Happiness Heroes team spreading happiness around school and supporting others with their wellbeing.

You can find out what pupils have been learning and further support the development of these good mental health habits at home through the My Happy Mind parent app.  The app includes videos so you can follow along with pupil’s learning, audio breathing exercises, stories and fun activities that you can do together at home. To learn more about the parent app visit the website https://myhappymind.lpages.co/myhappymind-parent-app-introduction/

Information about how to access the app will be sent home via class Dojo. If you have any technical questions about accessing the resources, please contact hello@myHappymind.org.questions
